My name is Jacquelyn Rose and I am the artist behind all of the drawings that you see on this site! Over the years, I've drawn dozens of realistic style portraits ranging from dogs to cats to people of all ages, genders, and ethnicities!

In college, I studied abroad in London, England and was able to explore Europe during my time away. While visiting countries like Switzerland, France, Norway, Russia, etc., I realized that my passion for drawing is similar to why I love traveling, history, and exploring other artistic endeavors: the chance to explore the unknown and see more of the world around me.

As someone who has a deep passion for traveling, I began to realize that portraits are their own form of world travel. Drawing allows me to travel in time and across regions to capture special moments, relationships, and lives that I'd otherwise never have the privilege to know. For this reason, I strive to build the most authentic custom portrait that will accurately capture your loved ones. Each order is more than just another face among a sea of strangers - I want to know about who I am drawing, so that I can make each drawing more personalized and individual.

I have always been interested in the creative side to life, which led me to explore the worlds of acting, music, and art! Aside from portrait drawing, I am also an actress, filmmaker, and party princess. My portrait journey began during my sophomore year of high school, where I took a visual arts class at Cab Calloway School of the Arts and eventually went on to take classes at Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia, PA. I am forever inspired to keep learning new techniques and mediums as I continue to refine my unique style. What better way is there to immortalize our memories than through art?
